What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
